Project Highlights

Orland, CA, the most populous city located in Glenn County, selected Aircon Energy for a city-wide comprehensive energy project using procurement code CA 4217.  Aircon  installed new energy efficient equipment for the city including: LED lighting in multiple buildings and parks, new well pumps featuring variable frequency drives, a new SCADA control system and high-efficiency infrared heaters for the city’s fire stations. 

Orland also installed solar panels at multiple sites including ground & roof mounts and car The city is projected to save approximately $3 million in reduced energy and operating costs over the projected life of the equipment.  Orland financed 100% of the energy efficiency upgrades leveraging low cost financing, including the use of Clean Renewable Energy Bonds available through the U.S. Department of Energy, with $0 out of pocket costs.
